AQI Reports

We have found that the AQI report under the ATX system was not representative of what we wanted to present to the public. We publish our AQI to a website every hour and ideally the AQI should represent the maximum index for ozone for the report day and not over the previous 24 hours, the current running 24-hour average (index) for PM-2.5, PM-10, and sulfur dioxide, and the current maximum 8-hour index for the report day and not over the previous 24 hours for carbon monoxide. Can we accomplish this in Air Vision? Do you find this valuable?

AirVision has an API (DLL call, I believe) to calculate the "current hour" AQI, and is being expanded right now to provide the "Standard" AQI, with options for both 'cross over to previous day' or 'keep within current day'.

The current implementation of AgileWeb shows the current AQI value for the current hour, and historical reports (e.g., AQI by hour) is also just a "current" value, but it would be little work to adopt the on-screen report to reflect either version of the Standard (just change the call). We provide all the source for the web site, and can package in a bundle of T&M hours for modifications.
