Round and truncate option in query for the calibration report

Customer requested that the query selection for the calibration report have a round or truncate option to select, that will only affect the data on the report and not permanently in the database, and that is in addition to the round or truncate in the channel setup. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Would they need the cal report round/truncate differentiated from the round/truncate applied in the other reports? Right now, the R/T is only applied at report time, but would be applied equally for all the reports.

Customers response to your question:
The round truncate function for cal reports should be differentiated
from the other reports. This situation occurs for ozone. The data
values are usually truncated. Calibration data for these channels is
usually rounded. So, hourly data would be truncated and instrument
responses recorded during calibration events would be rounded. I
believe applying the round at the cal report time would be the place to
apply it.

Right now we go in, as you suggested, and change the truncate to round
before we produce the cal report. When we are finished we go back and
change the round to truncate, so that when we run all other data reports
the values are truncated. I believe this is a change that someone could
easily forget to go back and make, then data could be reported
incorrectly.

That's a global setting in E-DAS, we'll make that a system config setting. Do you find this valuable?
