  1. Open the Installer folder and double-click to run setup.exe. Click Next.
  2. Enter User Name and Company Name. Click Next.
  3. Accept End-User License Agreement.
  4. Select the type of setup you want: Complete, Client Only, or Server Only. Click Next.
  5. Click Install to begin the installation.
  6. The next screen will display a progress bar as the installation progresses.
  7. The final screen will say the InstallShield Wizard is complete. Check the selection box to launch the Server Settings Editor. Refer to the database installation details to identify the server name, authentication type, and passwords required. If you are installing AirVision on the same PC as SQL Server, you can generally leave the Server Settings at default.

After the service is installed, you may need to start the AirVision service manually if it has not started automatically. Right-click My Computer and select Manage > Services and Applications > Services (or you can select Run and type services.msc). Right-click AirVision Server in the Services manager and select Start (Figure 2-1).
