Adding TCP/IP RoutesThis is a featured page

>>Note: If you have a broadband connection to your site, by all means use it. TCP/IP connections are much easier and faster than modems.

Open the Logger in Data Source Details->(Logger) and select Communications
  • click Add Route
  • click the Add TCP Route button
  • enter a Route Name, e.g., NKnox TCP,
  • enter a Network Address, e.g., 172.16.1.240
The defaults are set for 8832 defaults, but can be changed based on your network/route definitions:
  • Polling Port at 9881
  • Emulation Port at 9887.
Click the Save button.
