Use this procedure to create a new channel, choosing the ModbusGSI channel type.

At the "Misc" tab, choose the desired instrument type, and the desired parameter in the driver list.

Select the serial port the instrument is connected to on the logger (0, 1, 2, or 3).

Select the dongle ONLY if you are using a hardware dongle (used when daisy-chaining multiple Thermo analyzers on the same serial port).
